The Bronx Arts Ensemble’s 51st season, A Focus on the Human Condition, examines all the rituals and experiences that make us human. Musique de fête is an exploration of the “less refined” aspects of merrymaking, and includes works that evoke folk themes, lazy summer days, and a night of overindulgence. Includes works by William Grant Still, Arturo Marquez, Adriana Verdie, Ana Sokolovic, Samuel Barber, and Lalo Schifrin.
