Seven-time Grammy-nominated Latin Jazz star Bobby Sanabria & Multiverse Big Band presented their new work: Vox Humana at The Mall at Bay Plaza on June 24.
Typically focused on musical styles of Latin Jazz, spanning traditional afro-Latin rhythms (son, clave, bomba y plena) to updated versions of Nuyorican Salsa, Sanabria’s ensemble uses Vox Humana to present collaborations with three female vocalists: multi-Grammy award winner Janis Siegel (Manhattan Transfer), blues and jazz Queen Antoinette Montague, and the multi-lingual powerhouse, Jennifer Jade Ledesna.
