Bronx Arts Ensemble is proud to be going into its 50th year.

In 1972, William J. Scribner founded the Bronx Arts Ensemble with the vision of bringing classical, orchestral, and chamber music to the Bronx. Since then, Bronx Arts Ensemble (BAE) has provided a variety of Bronx communities with free and low-cost concerts, continually embracing a diversity of genres.

In 1993 BAE launched its Arts-in-Education programs, helping to fill an educational void in Bronx public schools. These programs have expanded beyond music into movement, theater, and art, delivered during and after school in over 40 public schools.

BAE continues to develop and integrate our core programs, impacting new audiences and building Bronx family. Throughout the pandemic, BAE has continued its commitment to nurturing the arts by providing the public with high-quality virtual concerts and events.

Thank you to our amazing donors, funders, audience members, and staff who have helped BAE reach this incredible milestone.
