BAE’s 51 Anniversary Art Forward Gala helped  raise general operating funds to support our mission of bringing music and related arts to Bronx schools and neighborhoods, and empowering people in their daily lives.

The gala evening was an inspirational event where we heard great first-hand stories from our board members and staff about how BAE has been doing important work for decades, supporting the Bronx by using the arts as a vehicle for social change. Our honorees – WQXR’s Terrance McKnight and the Juilliard School’s Dr. Fredara Hadley expressed how arts organizations like BAE have made an impact in their lives and acknowledged that BAE’s work has a significant impact on Bronx families and youth year after year.
