On Sunday, August 17 2021 BAE partnered with our friends WQXR at their Classical Kids Fair: Bronx Edition.
This free community event in the Pelham Parkway area of the Bronx exposed the community to classical music.
BAE and our friends from other Bronx music organizations presented live concerts and free dance classes for the community.
BAE’s woodwind quintet performed a selection of French works. In addition, the quintet collaborated with a performer from Bronx Opera. BAE teaching artists were also present and provided free dance classes for the community.
Community Organizations included:
Bronx Arts Ensemble, Bronx Children’s Museum, Bronx House, Bronx Music Heritage Center, and Bronx Opera. Performer Eganam Segbefia also presented a trumpet accompaniment to pop and contemporary music.
